FAQ - SIMPLY Pure & Natural

Welcome to the FAQ page for Simply. Pure & Natural. I’ve gathered the most common questions I receive about shipping, ingredients, product care, and how everything is made. As a one-person business, I do everything myself—from formulating and sewing to packing and shipping—so I want you to feel confident, informed, and connected every step of the way. Shipping Information

I offer flat-rate shipping across Canada for $15, with free shipping on orders over $150, but please see the T&Cs below and other information. 

Shipping within Canada & International Shipping

At this time, I only ship within Canada. If you're outside Canada, the best way to order is through my ETSY shop. You are welcome to contact me to see if I can make international shipping possible. 

Remote or PO Box Addresses

If your order is going to a very remote location or a PO BOX, I may not be able to ship using my standard methods. In that case, I'll reach out to discuss alternatives or offer a refund if shipping isn't feasible. 

Shipping Timelines

Most packages will arrive within 3 to 4 business days once shipped, depending on your location. Remote areas may take a little longer. 

Order Processing Time

I shop orders as quickly as possible, but since everything is handmade and packed with care, please allow 2-4 business days for processing. If you order is time-sensitive, please reach out and I'll do my best to prioritize it. 

Insurance Coverage

All parcels are insured up to $100 CAD. 

Carrier Delays
I use reliable services, but once a parcel leaves my hands, delays due to weather, holidays, or carrier issues are beyond my control. I'll do what I can to assist in resolving issues and giving information about your order. 

Order Information

Items are handmade by me in Calgary, Alberta. 

Return Policy

Because almost everything I sell is handmade in small batches, I don't offer returns or exchanges unless there is a problem with your order. I want you to be completely happy with your purchase, so if something arrives damaged, incorrect, or not quite right, please reach out within 7 days of delivery and I will do my best to make it right. 

Product Disclaimers & Information

Pregnant or Breastfeeding 

If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, I recommend choosing unscented products whenever possible. Essential oils, even natural ones, can cross the skin barrier and may not be suitable during these sensitive stages. While many oils are considered safe in low concentrations, I prefer to err on the side of caution and empower you to make informed choices. Unscented options offer the same nourishing benefits—without added aroma—so you can care for your body with confidence.

Essential Oils & Allergens

Some essential oils contain naturally occurring allergens such as limonene, linalool, or eugenol. These compounds are part of the plant’s natural chemistry and are listed in the ingredient breakdown when present. If you have known sensitivities or allergies, please read the full INCI list carefully. I always aim for transparency, and I’m happy to answer questions about specific ingredients or formulations. Your comfort and safety matter.

Patch Testing & Skin Sensitivity​

Every body is different, and even gentle, handmade products can cause unexpected reactions. I always recommend doing a patch test before using any new product—especially if you have sensitive skin, allergies, or are trying something for the first time. Apply a small amount to your inner arm and wait 24 hours. If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately. My products are crafted with care, but your skin’s response is uniquely yours.
