What makes these cloths special?
I originally sourced this fabric and made these cloths while preparing for our second baby - wishing I'd had them the first time around. I love them and I'd love for other families to have them too.
Unlike typical reusable cloths these are made from 100% organic terry cotton - that means they are thicker, softer and more natural than most cloths available.
Organic Terry Cotton
Organic terry cotton is a natural, looped fabric known for its softness, absorbency, and durability. The loops create a plush texture that holds moisture well, making it ideal for cloths, towels, and baby care items.
These cloths are made with certified organic cotton that is grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. Organic is my preference whenever possible, especially for items used on my children and items used directly on their skin.
Why choose organic cotton cloths?
Babies are especially vulnerable to chemical residues that can irritate their skin, disrupt hormones, and affect long-term development. As a mom, I know it’s not always possible to have everything organic or fully natural—but when deciding what to prioritize, I focus on the items that touch their most sensitive areas or touch their skin for long periods of time: cloths, cloth diapers, and sleepwear.

More about the cloths
Each cloth is handmade by me.
Size & Colour
Around 20 x 20 cm - because I handmake them the exact size may vary ever so slightly.
Initially I wanted to make them smaller (and might still add this as an option) because for newborns I like to wet them and keep them in a wipe warmer to use. Slightly smaller works better for this. But having now gone through newborn, baby and toddler phase using wipes I have found that 20 x 20 cm is the nicest size that works well through all phases.
The cloths only come in one colour - natural (it is slightly off-white).
Durability & Comfort
Unlike some of my other products, these cloths do not have labels sewn onto them. This is done to maximize comfort when using the cloths.
The edges are rounded and overlocked.
I pre-wash all the cloths in natural unscented detergent. Since they are pre-washed, I make sure that the shrinking that is going to happen, happens before I cut and sew them and you don't need to worry about them shrinking.
