The Purest Care Box for mom and baby is the perfect gift for a mom to be (or for yourself in preparation for the beautiful, but also sensitive postpartum time). 
 
What makes this box special? 
 
The items inside are exactly what a postpartum mom needs and can also use for her new baby. Everything is UNSCENTED - which is so important in this sensitive bonding time with baby. There are no unnecessary ingredients in these products. Everything is pure & natural - containing only what is needed and what is supportive. 
 
What is in this box? 
 
1. Organic terry cotton cloths x5 
 
These cloths are hand sewn from plush 100% organic terry cotton with loops on both sides (think incredibly soft towel feeling on both sides). 
 
They are gentle for baby's soft skin and lovely for a mom who needs to feel gently cared for in this transition time. 
 
2. Pure Tallow Soap (Unscented) 
 
Made with grassfed and finished tallow, lye and water. Nothing else. No unnecessary ingredients and not cut with cheaper oils. It is unscented making it ideal for mom (for baby bonding) and for baby. This is the only soap I use postpartum and on my babies. 
 
3. Tallow Moisturizer
 
Pure whipped grassfed and finished tallow moisturizer. It is unscented (like everything else in this box). But also, importantly it is whipped and contains a small amount of organic cold pressed jojoba - this is important because it means it spreads so easily (spread is often an issue with saturated fat moisturizers). A mom can easily apply this on herself and baby - a little goes a long way. 
 
4. Natural Deodorant - Shea Butter & Unscented 
 
Postpartum is a hormonal time and can result in a stronger odor. While it is important for baby to smell their moms in this time, and thus we don't want to be using anything with fragrance or scent, we also like to feel fresh and clean. 
 
This deodorant is perfect for that - it is unscented and therefore will not interfere with mom and baby bonding and will not disrupt the important and beautiful hormonal time, but it will prevent unpleasant smells. 
 
It is made with only 4 ingredients - shea butter, bicarb, arrowroot and jojoba. 
 
While I typically like to use my deodorant out of a glass jar - the one in this box comes in a push up tube for ease of one-handed application (we know how important it is to be able to do things one handed with holding baby). Pregnancy & Breastfeeding: 
Best to use the unscented version. It is made without any hormone disruptors and generally considered pregnancy & breastfeeding friendly. I use it through pregnancy and breastfeeding.
